Division One
Carew have a narrow one point lead over Cresselly at the top of Division One following their six wickets win at home to Neyland who were held to 161-8.
Scott John scored 70 before becoming the eighth wicket to fall and Nick Koomen 22.
Ian Sefton had a fiery spell of 3-33 for Carew who reached 166-4 in reply.
Sefton had an even more fiery spell with the bat in an innings of 81no which included four sixes and five fours and added 92 for the first wicket with Nick Scourfield who scored 42.
Henry Durrant and Jay Dunsford each had two wickets for the visitors.
On a slow pitch and a sluggish outfield Cresselly had a mammoth 256-7 at Whitland.
Andrew Harris with 76 and Phil Williams with 55 had an opening partnership of 127 and then Simon Cole put the bowlers to the sword and hit four sixes and four fours in his innings of 65.
Whitland skipper Mark Lee took 4-50 and off spinner Paul Webb picked up three wickets.
Whitland could only reach 166-8 in reply. Kevin Pearce top scored again with 42 supported by Paul Davies with 33 and Edward John with 26.
Simon Cole took 3-22 with his off spinners.
In a match delayed by rain Narberth scored 113-8 in their allotted 30 overs at Haverfordwest. Kyle Quartermaine scored 31 and another young player Aron Keane scored 23.
David Davies took 4-25 in five overs and Adam James 3-16.
Haverfordwest reached 115-3 to win by seven wickets with just over five overs to spare. Richard James led the way with 40, Karl Rhead backed up with 31 and opener Danny Potter chipped in with 28.
In a high scoring match at Lawrenny, the visitors Hook reached 182-5 in response to a Lawrenny total of 229-5.
Steve Lewis with 66 and Lawrenny skipper Hugh Griffiths with 49no added 98 for the fifth wicket and Ian Jenkins with 37no helped Griffiths add 65 in an unbroken sixth wicket partnership. Brad McDermott-Jenkins had a useful innings of 29 as Ross Martin took 3-53 for the visitors.
Brennan Lay with 46no and Mick Haltam with 35no held things together for Hook and earlier the consistent openers Jamie Phelps and Ben Fields scored 33 and 27 respectively.
Stephen Rees took 3-10 for Lawrenny.
On a day when rain or wet pitches resulted in 11 matches being called off and one abandoned early on, only one match suffered in Division One and that was at Llangwm where St Ishmaels were the scheduled visitors.
Division Two
Saundersfoot picked up their sixth win of the season after scoring 199-3 with two balls of the match remaining in reply to a Haverfordwest Seconds total of 195-8. Mikey Jones with 71 and Andrew Phillips with 58 put on 120 for the first wicket for the visitors supported by Simon Williams with 21no.
Stylish early order batsman Paul Mansbridge is still finding his maiden Pembrokeshire League century elusive. Regarded as one of the best batsmen in the league for years Mansbridge scored 93no with one six and ten fours in a third wicket partnership of 78 with Nick Cope who hit five sixes and three fours in an innings of 47.
James Caine maintained the momentum with his innings of 30no.
Cresselly Seconds scored 221-9 in a valiant attempt to reach the total of 228-8 scored by the visitors Stackpole who were indebted to Huw Cox with 73 and Andre Hay with 50.
Matthew Lewis took 4-49 for Cresselly Seconds and then scored 38no with three sixes and one four as the Cresselly team tried to win the match despite only having one wicket left.
Earlier Neale Williams scored 44 and Rhydian Rees 42 whilst the promising Iwan Izzard impressed again in his innings of 21.
Anthony Canton took 3-54 for Stackpole.
Carew Seconds who are now top of the table in Division Two won by 36 runs away to Johnston after Adrian Harries had scored 67 and James Hinchliffe 47 in a total of 180-8 posted by the visitors.
Gary James took 5-50 for Johnston who were bowled out for 144 in reply as Darren Thomas took 3-61 and Aled Davies 2-14.
Lee Summons scored 35 for Johnston and John Summons supported with 19.
In other Division Two matches Herbrandston scored 197 before being dismissed at Burton and the home team reached 114-7 in reply.
No play was possible in the match between Fishguard and Pembroke.
Division Three
Division Three leaders Whitland Seconds had an exciting two wickets win away to Crymych with just two balls of the match remaining.
Crymych skipper David Deardon scored 57no in a Crymych total of 147-8 in a match reduced to 34 overs. He was supported by Jacob Lloyd with 25 as Stuart Harris took 3-28 and Daniel Newton took 2-9 for the visitors.
Although Whitland Seconds did not lose their second wicket until the total was 115 Murray Briggs, Rob Nicholas and Charlie Davidson-Howell each put pressure on the batsmen by taking two wickets each after Meyrick Rowlands had scored 55 and Scott Newton 44.
Two younger players Matthew Webb with 15 and Daniel Rowland with 11no had key roles in the Whitland win.
Pembroke declared after scoring 205-7 away to Hundleton who were not far off the Dock total in reaching 188-7 in reply.
Jacob Davies with 62 and talented teenager David Dunfee with 45 were the leading Dock scorers supported by Julian Edwards with 36.
Scott Richards took 5-63 for Hundleton who looked to be in with a shout of victory after Jonathan Williams had scored 80 and Luke Williams 51.
David Dunfee, Jamie White and Jason Coles each took two wickets for the visitors.
In a match reduced to 33 overs per side, Lamphey were bowled out for 118 at Narberth.
Rob Mathias with 42 and Peter McGilloway with 17 put on 54 for the first wicket but wickets then fell at regular intervals and the only others in double figures were Hywel Gibbs with 18 and Gareth Nicholas with 15.
Off spinner Nick Evans took 4-21 and leg spinner Greg Morris 3-38 for Narberth Seconds who scored 122-3 in reply to win by seven wickets.
Narberth Seconds skipper Andrew Williams scored 33 in an opening stand of 52 with Mike Johns who finished with 38no.
Jason Oatley the Lamphey skipper took 3-33.
Division Four
Only one match was played to its conclusion in Division Four and that was at Hook where the visitors Lawrenny seconds were dismissed for 101. John Fuller scored 29 and the experienced Phil Williams 20no for the Lawrenny team as David Petrie took 3-35.
Although John Fuller followed up his batting to take 5-15, Nigel Badham with 28 and Sam Rossiter with 22 ensured that Hook Seconds won with a total of 102-6.
Division Five
In a mid table battle at St Florence the visitors Saundersfoot Seconds were restricted to 138-9.
The Saundersfoot innings was dominated by Mike Franklin who scored 97 with 11 fours before being caught by Neil Powling off the bowling of Ben McDonnell who finished with 5-47.
The only other batsman in double figures was Paul Brooks with 18.
The Saints won by nine wickets to register their second win of the season with a total of 140-1.
Jonathan Edwards was 66no and Mike May scored 49.
Division Five leaders Carew Thirds scored 171-3 at home to Llanrhian Seconds.
Haydn Shapcott with 91no and Joe Kidney with 58 had a second wicket partnership of 122.
In reply the visitors closed their innings on 162-6. Richard Reed top scored with 45 supported by RV Jones with 34 and Andrew Lees with 23.
Luke Hicks was the pick of the Carew bowlers with 3-40.
Division Six
Pembroke Dock's Seconds have jumped up into second place in the table after defeating Hundleton at home by 29runs.
Peter Jones scored 52 and James Olyott 27 in a Dock total of 155-9 as Craig Williams took 4-51 for the visitors.
Williams was also on form with the bat in his innings of 38 backed up by Steve Eagles with 32.
It was not enough to prevent Hundleton Seconds from being defeated as they were bowled out for 126 by Steve Alford who took 5-65 and Andrew Wood who took 4-20.
