Division One Whitland have moved up to fourth place in the table following a comfortable win over defending champions St Ishmaels who were dismissed for 105 in Saturday's match at Whitland. As a result Tish have slipped from third place to sixth place in the fluctuating table. Jonathan Pawlett and Stewart Kimpton both scored 22 backed up by Peter Bradshaw with 19 and Mike Symons with 14 but none of the Tish batsmen went on to make a big score. Skipper Mark Lee had an outstanding spell of two for 12 in 12 overs, Dwayne Reynolds took two for 23 and Iestyn Scourfield two for 22. Spinner Paul Webb took out the lower order in a four for 14 spell. In reply Whitland had an excellent start in a first wicket partnership of 57 between Paul Webb who was 40 not out and David Lee who scored 29. On the departure of Lee, Paul Davies had a brisk innings of 22 not out and added 51 in a match winning second wicket partnership with Webb as Whitland won by nine wickets upon reaching 108 for one. Jonathan Pawlett was a solitary wicket taker for Tish. Haverfordwest remain top and Neyland remain in second place after the clubs battled out for a draw at the Racecourse. The town batted first and scored 179 for four. Stephen Phillips scored 67 with six fours and one six, Richard James backed up with 33 and Phil Kirkby with 39 not out joined Phillips in a productive partnership for the fourth wicket. In reply Neyland reached 160 for six. The visitors were given a good start by Scott John and Paul Murray in an opening stand of 55 with Murray hitting six fours in his innings of 42. The Haverfordwest bowlers then made some inroads into the Neyland batting line up but Jay Dunsford with 53 not out and Ashley Sutton with 30 not out took Neyland to safety. Spinners Clive Tucker and skipper Nick Dyer took three for 35 and two for 26 respectively. The match between Llangwm and Cresselly ended in a draw after the visitors Cresselly had scored 159 for nine. Richard Harris with 53 not out and his son Andrew with 40 had a fifth wicket partnership of 75 for Cresselly and opener Phil Williams scored 20. Andrew Harries took three for 30, Darren Brick three for 32 and Richard Brock three for 33. Llangwm got to 107 for nine in reply, Danny Chesner top scored with 18 as spinner Ryan Lewis took four for 14, Richard Harris two for 14 and Stefan Jenkins two for 25. Carew had a six wickets win over Burton who were bowled out for 118. Burton recovered from being 18 for five thanks to the efforts of opener Richard Hayman with 35 and later some lusty blows by Gareth Bevan in an innings of 35. Simon Wood took five for five in 12 overs and only conceded one scoring shot off the bat, spinner Ceri Brace took two for 38 and skipper Rob Scourfield also took two for 38. Carew got to 119 for four in reply. Brian Hall had the major innings with 51 including eight fours before he fell to a catch by Richard Hayman at long off, off the bowling of leg spinner Morgan Scale who finished with figures of three for 13. Narberth were down and out at 16 for five chasing a low Lawrenny total of 116. However teenager Thomas Richards survived an early life and added 65 vital runs in a six wicket partnership with Ian Hughes who scored 20 from 60 deliveries. Stroke maker Richards went on to score an undefeated 75 from 89 balls and hit ten fours and one six in the process. Rob Williams and Simon Cole did the early damage for Lawrenny in this Division One bottom of the table clash and Cole finished with four for 22 when Ian Hughes was bowled by Steve Lewis. Narberth continued to fight back in a partnership between Tom Richards and Ben Quartermaine and eventually reached 118 for six to win by four wickets. In the Lawrenny innings, skipper Steve Lewis held things together in a fighting knock of 32, James Buckle backed up with 21 and Ian Jenkins with 19. Division Two Carew Seconds have taken over from Saundersfoot in second place in the table after Saundersfoot's game at Llechryd was called off because of a wet pitch. Carew Seconds travelled to Pembroke and built up a defendable total of 178 for nine. Teenager Tom Davies hit six fours in his fine innings of 50, Darren Thomas scored 35 and Ben Evans 25. For the Pembroke team, skipper Kevin Jenkins took three for 17, Nigel Phillips took two for 22 and Sean Powell two for 37. The Pembroke batsmen reached 136 for eight in reply with Phil Hay leading the way in an excellent innings of 70. Nigel Phillips provided support in his knock of 14. Darren Thomas finished with figures of four for 30, Steve Ive two for 28 and Neil Gregory two for 43. In other Division Two matches, leaders Hook had a three wickets win away to Llanrhian after dismissing the home team for 101. Haverfordwest Seconds were bowled out for 89 at Herbrandston who won by eight wickets and Fishguard had a seven wickets win away to Johnston who were bowled out for 150. Division Three Cresselly Seconds have taken over the leadership of Division Three from Stackpole who were unable to play against Kilgetty because of a wet pitch. At Cresselly Scott Arthur hit seven fours and one six in his innings of 49 backed up by Geraint Williams with 16 and Huw Evans with 14 in a Cresselly total of 144 all out. For the visitors Camrose and Spittal, Dave "Dazzler" Morgan took six for 23 and David Crane three for 47. In reply the visitors were bowled out for 86 as Sion Jenkins took four for 29, Richard Arthur three for 14 and Mathew Lewis two for 11. Rupert Norman with 13 and Ian Lewis with 12 were the only visiting batsmen in double figures. Pembroke Dock maintained their challenge on the leaders with a convincing nine wickets win away to St Ishmaels Seconds who were bundled out for 55. Philip Cockburn with 11 was the only batsman in double figures as Luke Murray took four for 15, left arm spinner Jason Coles two for nine and skipper Nicky Daley twp for three. In reply the Dock only lost one wicket in reaching a winning total of 56 with Julian Edwards 38 not out. Whitland Seconds scored 168 for seven in their away match at Hundleton and were given an excellent start in an opening stand of 56 between Jonathan Thomas and Meyrick Rowlands. After Rowlands was dismissed for 20, Thomas remained firm and went on to score 80 backed up by Bobby Webb with 18 and Carl Stephenson with 16. For Hundleton Jonathan Williams took four for 54 and Riaan Strydom two for 41. Jonathan Williams was also on form with the bat, hitting two sixes and three fours in an innings of 47 supported by Scott Richards with 16. The Hundleton innings closed on a total of 103 for eight as Shaun Lynch took three for 25 and skipper Stuart Harris two for 19. Burton Seconds were bowled out for 97 at home to Lamphey who won by six wickets upon reaching 100 for four after 16 overs. For Burton Ben Huxley scored 33 with five fours and all rounder Steve Jones 20. For the visitors spinner Hywel Gibbs took three for 23, Grant Cole two for 13, vice captain Steve Vale two for 18 and Jason Oatley two for 39. In reply Lamphey openers Paul White and Peter McGilloway put on 45 for the first wicket. After slipper White was dismissed for 13 McGilloway stayed at the crease to score 59 with nine fours and one six supported by Gareth Nicholas with 13. Neville Davies was the pick of the Burton bowlers and finished with a return of three for 12. Division Four Narberth Seconds have moved up to second place following their win at Manorbier by a 105 runs. Aron Keane scored 41 supported by Will Davidson with 34 and opener Emyr Jenkins with 26 in the Narberth Seconds total of 170 for nine. For Manorbier Mike May took four for 35 and Neil Powling three for 31. Although Paul Oeppen had a defiant innings of 17 Manorbier were bowled out for the lowish total of 65, as Richard Howell took four for 16 and Brynley Toms three for 20. Lawrenny Seconds had a big win at home to Llanrhian Seconds who were dismissed for 33 in reply to a Lawrenny Seconds total of 160 for eight. When Lawrenny batted, Alun Evans scored 42, John Fuller 28 and Brad Mc Dermott-Jenkins 27. Experienced leg spinner David Lewis took six for 42 and Dafydd Charles two for 39. The Llanrhian batsmen had no answer to the bowling of Stephen Rees who took five for 19, Brad Mc Dermott Jenkins who took two for four and Phil Cole who ended up with figures of two wickets for no runs. Pembroke Seconds travelled to Neyland and were bowled out for a disappointing total of 59 chasing a Neyland team total of 147 for nine. Phil Sutton may no longer play first team cricket on a regular basis but he is still a top notch batsman and scored 78 not out in the Neyland total. Anton John took five for 26 for the visitors. None of the Pembroke batsmen got going and the leading scorers were Jamie Kaijaks with 15 and Tim Gould with 13, as Patrick Bellerby took three for 11 and Phil Sutton two for nought. Division Five Whitland Thirds remain in second place in the table despite being bowled out for 103 away to Camrose and Spittal Seconds. Young Nico Setaro top scored with 27 supported by Peter Wright with 14 and James Davies with 12. The experienced duo of Rob John and Gelly James took most of the wickets for Camrose and Spittal Seconds as John finished with figures of four for 28 and James took three for 23. Although there were 12 extras no Camrose and Spittal batsman reached doubled figures, as the home team were bundled out for just 37. Daniels James took three for six, Nico Setaro two for two, Jonathan Davies two for 11 and Hefin Thomas three for 16. Narberth Thirds won an exciting low scoring match at Llanddewi Velfrey against Cresselly Thirds by two wickets. The visitors batted first and were bowled out for 57 as Alun Phillips took four for 14, Huw Simpkins two for three, Geraint Nicholas two for four and Tim Mills two for five. The talented teenager Iwan Izzard top scored for the visitors with 26. The Narberth team were in a spot of bother at 34 for six but Jordan Williams had an undefeated innings of 22 not out in a Narberth Thirds total of 58 for eight. Young Izzard followed up his batting to take three for seven, skipper Phil James took three for 12 and Paul Guest 3 for 30. Carew Thirds won by four wickets away to Hook Seconds who were restricted to a total of 84 for nine as Richard Cope took three for 20. David Petrie offered the most resistance with his innings of 18. An innings of 39 by James Hinchcliffe played a big part in Carew Thirds reaching a total of 85 for six as Chris Holder took three for 12. St Florence offered brave resistance after the visitors Herbrandston Seconds had scored a big total of 200 for nine. Rattan Murigesan hit three sixes and nine fours in his innings of 71 and put on 115 for the first wicket with Mike Langdon who hit five fours and one six in his knock of 42. Jamie Wilson scored 22, Mike Spearing 13 and Paul Nicholas 12. For the Saints Ashley Smith took three for 30, Peter Hall three for 41 and twelve year old George Wilkins two for 58. St Florence lost with two balls of the match remaining when the last wicket fell with a total on 82. Steve Wilkins scored 31 and Peter Hall 13 but no other batsman reached double figures as Paul Nicholas took four for 26, Mike Spearing two for nine and Johnny Lewis two for 34. Division Six Pembroke Dock Seconds lost by 16 runs at home to Llangwm Thirds after being bowled out for 130 chasing a Llangwm total of 146 all out. Lyn Rees scored 66 and Josh Davies 36 for the visitors as John Coles took four for 36 and Steve Alford two for 22. James Olyott led the Dock run chase with 33 supported by Steve Alford with 23. For the visitors Sean Thomas took four for 27, Josh Davies three for 47 and Lyn Rees two for 13. Saundersfoot Seconds scored 185 before being dismissed at home to Haverfordwest Fourths. Yannick Parker batting at number six hit two sixes and six fours in his innings of 60 and thirteen year old Sam Butler opened the innings and scored exactly 50 with eight fours. Andrew Evans was the only other batsman in double figures with 12 as Mark Hicks took two for 26 and John Hicks two for 28. Haverfordwest Fourths were dismissed for 104. Mark Hicks top scored on 26 as Chris Hawkes took out the tail with five for 27 and Yannick Parker took two for 15. No play was possible in the matches between Fishguard Seconds and Kilgetty Seconds and between Lamphey Seconds and Llanrhian Thirds
