With just three weeks to go until Christmas, collecting sponsorship for Tenby's Boxing Day Swim is currently an important task for many of the hundreds of brave bathers who are planning their festive dip.
It is hoped that this year's Activity Wales-sponsored swim will follow on from the 2000 event which realised over £8,000 and broke all fund-raising records.
Swimmers can collect sponsorship either for their own charities and good causes, or those nominated by the event organisers, the Tenby Sea Swimming Association. This year, these will be headlined by Ty Hafan Children's Hospice, the Tenby Scout and Guide Hall re-building fund, Tenby Gateway Club and Tenby Rowing Club.
Sponsor forms can be collected locally from Tenby's Fourcroft Hotel, The Croft, Activity Wales, Tudor Square, Tenby Tourist Information Centre, The Croft; New Hedges Post Office; Pentlepoir Post Office; The Queens Hall Cafe, Narberth.
