Members of Tenby Town Council were given a ticking off by their First Citizen this week.
Mayor, Clr. Mrs. Julie Evans, was disappointed at the lack of attendance by fellow councillors at Sunday's civic service and parade.
"There was a very good attendance by clubs and organisations, along with every Mayor from Pembrokeshire, but it was disappointing to see so few councillors," she said.
"It is a very important occasion for the council and councillors really should give it more priority."
Clr. Mrs. Evans thanked those groups, organisations, fellow Mayors and councillors who attended, as well as Rev. Andrew Davies who had given a 'beautiful' service at St. Mary's Church.
