Councillors have urged Tenby residents who continue to criticise them, to come forward and put their names in the running for the June elections.

"Perhaps the people who constantly stop us in the streets and ask us why we aren't doing this and that as councillors, could come forward and put their names into the running to be elected onto the town council," remarked Clr. Mrs. Maureen Ward at Tuesday night's meeting.

Clr. Mrs. Christine Brown concurred with her colleague.

"We often get criticised as councillors for not doing enough, but I can tell you it's not as easy making decisions and trying to take care of problems as one might think." she said. "We do our very utmost to do things right, but if people think they can do a better job than us, then now is their chance."
