With bookings well up on this time last year, two Tenby councillors have praised the town's De Valence Pavilion for an encouraging start to the new year, after they attended a recent board meeting of the venue's Trust.
"It was pleasing to hear that bookings have vastly increased for January and February compared to last year," Clr. Mrs. Kerri Durham told her colleagues at Tuesday night's meeting of the town council.
The only downside, reported Clr. Paul Rapi, was that the building's heating system had come to the end of its life and to replace it would cost in the region of £32,000.
"The most important thing is that bookings are up, which is encouraging, and we must continue to support what is a positive thing for the whole of Tenby," he said.
