The festive feel at Tenby's Charity Christmas Market which took place over the weekend, has been praised by local councillors.

"There was a lovely atmosphere at the Christmas market and also the Santa Fun Run on the Sunday, so well done to all those who were involved and worked hard to make it all a success," Clr. Mrs. Tish Rossiter told her colleagues at Tuesday night's meeting of the town council.

"It was very positive and showed the potential for holding markets more frequently in the town at other times during the year," said Clr. Lawrence Blackhall.

Pembrokeshire County Council's street care manager, Mr. Marc Owen, has also told the clerk to the town council that the enhancement of Tudor Square would add to this kind of event being held there in the future.
