Narberth Town Council has renewed its calls for a light to be erected on one of the town's most dangerous footpaths.
Speaking at Tuesday night's meeting of the council, County Councillor Wynne Evans asked for the council's support in his bid to have a light on the footpath between Garfield Gardens and the Town Moor.
"This is a dangerous walking place where people have been attacked over the years," he said.
Councillors agreed to write to the local authority with their request again.
Meanwhile, members were informed at their meeting this week that there was to be surface drainage and widening work on the footpath between Tabernacle Lane and the swimming pool.
