Sir, The longest-run farces will have to look to their laurels! Coming up fast is the outsider attraction, Tenby Cottage Hospital! Apart from the vested members of the Local Implementation Group, there appears to be very little support for the use of a well-loved name, 'The Cottage Hospital', on a new building that will be anything but a Cottage Hospital. We have no doubt that the local GPs are delighted to get their vastly expanded surgery and clinical facilities, even at the sacrifice of the Cottage Hospital, but to agree to put a false name on it? Not if they are honest. I suppose there is an inevitable and forthcoming sequel. The Tenby tourist trade would be so much more profitable if St. Mary's was demolished and replaced by a state-of-the-art casino. How does the new use of an even older well-loved name sound - St. Mary's Casino! Ivor Jenkins,
23 Dombey Road, Poynton, Cheshire.
