The Pembrokeshire Coroner Service has established its own website under pembrokeshirecoroner.org
The site provides information about the service and about pending inquest cases. For reasons of privacy, it does not contain details of all deaths that have been reported to the coroner, but does provide information on all cases where inquests have been opened and the up-to-date position on when those cases are likely to be heard.
Information is also provided, in the answers to Frequently Asked Questions, on the way that the service operates.
It is believed that the website is one of the few that coroners in England and Wales operate independently of the local authority and is the first in Wales.
