Police are investigating a theft from a boat left on the beach at Coppet Hall, Saundersfoot.

Four wet suits and a large blue sailing bag with the make Rucanor on the side were stolen sometime between Sunday and Monday.

Persons could be heard screaming and shouting from the area of the boat during the hours of darkness. The boat was also moved down the beach.

Boat owners are reminded to secure their boats and not to leave any valuables on the boats and to consider data tagging the engine or marking the engine in a permanent manner.

Police would like to speak with any persons in the area at the time and are appealing for anyone with information to contact PC270 Terry Pugh at Tenby Police Station via 101.
