As we were going to press yesterday (Thursday), concern was growing over the whereabouts of a missing Tenby man.
Mr. David Roberts, who has lived in Tenby for nine years and works at the Stone Crab Restaurant in Saundersfoot, was last seen leaving work around 11 pm on Thursday, June 8.
He is described as a white male aged 60 years, approximately 5ft 8inches tall, of stocky build with grey wavy hair.
His car was found parked in Hill Rise, Kilgetty, at 7.30 am on Friday, June 9.
The police are particularly interested in his movements between 11 pm on June 8 and 7.30 am the following morning, and are appealing for information from anyone who may have seen him in the Kilgetty area. He may have even been given a lift by a motorist out of the area.
This behaviour is described as completely out of character and gives concern for his welfare.
The police have conducted a search of his home address and the area where his car was found utilising police staff, dogs and air support, but nothing to assist them with their enquiries has been found.
Anyone with any information as to the whereabouts of Mr Roberts, or may have information that would assist police with this investigation is asked to contact Tenby Police on 0845 330 2000.
