Under new Objective One funding from Europe, Narberth will be one of the first areas to  have free compost bins for each household. The town's county council representative, Clr. Wynne Evans, will be making a full statement to the town council at their next meeting. "Pembrokeshire County Council has recognised that this service offers one of the best practical and sustainable environmental options to reduce the tonnage that goes into our landfill sites," said Clr. Evans. "I urge people to take advantage of this," he added. "All the bins will be supplied with an information pack and a contact  for compost information."
