TENBY’S TravelArts group recently enjoyed a stay in Cornwall which included a trip to the real village that became Portwenn in the Doc Martin TV series.
Roz Oak said: “We had a wonderful six days in St Agnes enjoying sunshine and spring weather, the highlights were trips to Port Isaac, where Doc Martin was filmed and The Lost Gardens of Heligan.”

The restoration of the Heligan Estate’s gardens at Mevagissey in the 1990s, having suffered neglect after the First World War, was the subject of several popular television programmes and books.
