PAUL Sartori Hospice at Home has been pleased to receive a further grant of £500 from the Ten Percent Foundation to support its specialist end-of-life care for patients with neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s disease and the effects of strokes.
The funding will contribute to the charity’s continued delivery of compassionate, dignified care to individuals at home with complex conditions, helping them remain at home during their final days, surrounded by loved ones. This vital support includes hands-on nursing care, access to essential equipment, complementary therapy, counselling and bereavement services and future care planning. This is complemented by a 24/7 on-call service, standby service, rapid response support and symptom management.
The grant will directly benefit the charity’s work with individuals across Pembrokeshire. Between July 2025 and March 2026, Paul Sartori’s clinical team supported 14 patients with Parkinson’s and 4 patients who had suffered strokes, tailoring care to each person’s needs whilst working closely with other care teams.
Jonathan Fagan Founder of the Ten Percent Foundation and the Ten Percent Group of Companies, said: “We are delighted to support Paul Sartori Hospice at Home once again with a contribution towards the care of people living with conditions including Parkinson’s disease at the end of life.
He continued: “Having seen first-hand the impact Parkinson’s disease had on my father and our family, I understand how important compassionate support can be, both for patients and those closest to them. The work undertaken by Paul Sartori helps people remain at home with dignity, comfort and specialist care when they need it most.
“We are pleased to play a small part in supporting this vital service and hope to continue our support in the future.”
Kim Briggs, Paul Sartori Hospice at Home Service Lead, said: “We are incredibly grateful to the Ten Percent Foundation once again for their continued generosity and belief in our work. Their support makes a meaningful difference to how we deliver care in our community. This funding will help us to continue offering tailored care and support to patients with Parkinson’s and strokes, ensuring comfort, dignity, and choice at the end of life.”
