PEMBROKE councillor Lee Herring has thanked Pembrokeshire County Council for erecting a new sign for West Street after he had passed on residents’ views.

West Street emerges into The Commons between the play park and the Castle car park. Residents had long expressed concern that there was no street name sign.

The Town Councillor for Pembroke St Mary South said:

“I reported this around two years ago and have continued to do so periodically.

“I wish to express my gratitude to Pembrokeshire County Council for erecting the new sign.”
