THE Pembroke Dock Men’s Shed moved last year from Pembroke Port area to larger and more accessible premises alongside the VC Gallery (behind the fire station) in Britannia Road, Pembroke Dock, SA72 6PD, with ample parking.

The Shed is a community charity established in 2014 with the aim of promoting men’s health and wellbeing through social interaction and practical activity, particularly in retirement. This comprises of a communal workshop where men can come together to work on individual or community projects, a large social area to enjoy a chat over a cuppa or have a game of cribbage or chess. There are several other activities including woodwork and turning, amateur radio and media facilities with 3D printers.

Each Wednesday the men meet for a social day from around 10am to 3pm and have a hot meal if required. The Shed is also open every day for members to use the facilities for their own projects.

The Men’s Shed is now seeking more members to join. Contact Dave on 07968 713749 or Howell on 07837 427620.
