Pembroke Dock Heritage Centre was the proud winner of the Pembroke Farmers’ Club Perpetual Challenge Shield for ‘Best Trade Stand in the Marquee’ at the Pembroke Town and Country Show at Lamphey on August 5, highlighting the efforts of its dedicated volunteers.

The award is in memory of John Russell FRJCS. Pictured is the lovely Carys Phillips, Chairman’s wife (second from right), presenting the splendid shield to hardworking volunteers Jane, Neil, Nick and David.

“Today was one of our favourite days as volunteers,” they said on receiving the award, “and so proud to have won best trade stand display.”
