COUNTY Councillor Thomas Tudor congratulated Laura Sparks Hugman on her recent appointment as Chief Executive Officer of Paul Sartori Foundation on a visit to the Pembrokeshire hospice-at-home charity’s headquarters on Winch Lane, Haverfordwest.

During her meeting with Cllr Tudor, Laura introduced him to the dedicated team of staff, volunteers and Trustees who bring a broad range of clinical, financial, legal, business and community experience to the table - all of which helps to make it such a successful organisation helping the people of Pembrokeshire.

Paul Sartori Foundation exists to make sure no one faces end-of-life alone. Its hospice at home nurses provide compassionate care, practical support, and guidance for people living with life-limiting illness across our community.

From expert symptom management to emotional support for patients and families, Paul Sartori’s free hospice-at-home services are designed to bring comfort, dignity, and reassurance at the time it matters most.

Volunteers are the heart of Paul Sartori Hospice at Home. Their kindness, dedication, and generosity help make these valuable services possible every single day.

Councillor Thomas Tudor said: “It was very interesting to hear about the Clinical Impact Report 2025-2026 and how services are developing, including Hospice at Home, Equipment Loan, Bereavement and Counselling, Complementary Therapy and the Future Care Planning.

“May I take this opportunity to thank everyone whose efforts make this such a wonderful organisation for the population of Pembrokeshire. Diolch yn Fawr.”
