Tenby primary school - Ysgol Hafan Y Mor is asking the public to help them locate a special item that was inspired by the Eisteddfod coming to Pembrokeshire this summer.

“As part of our preparations for the Eisteddfod back in August, the children worked incredibly hard to decorate a beautiful bench with pictures inspired by our wonderful local area,” said a spokesperson for the school located along Heywood Lane.

“After the Eisteddfod, the bench travelled on to the Pembrokeshire Show, where it was proudly displayed. Unfortunately, when we went to collect it afterwards, the bench was no longer there!

“We are really hoping that it may have been collected or moved by mistake, and that someone might know where it is.

“The children and staff put so much time, care and effort into creating this very special bench, and it would mean a great deal to us to have it returned to school, where we are sure you’ll agree it will look absolutely beautiful.”

The school has asked for help in locating the bench by sharing their plea, in the hope that someone may recognise the bench or know where it has ended up.
