PEMBROKE Dock’s new mayor Cllr Tony Wilcox has paid tribute to outgoing mayor Cllr Michele Wiggins, saying: “It has been an honour to work with you over the last 12 months.

“Your dedication to the role has been outstanding and will be a hard act to follow. You have certainly done Pembroke Dock proud.”

Cllr Wiggins responded: “It has been an absolute privilege to represent my town. Thank you very much for your kind words.”

Michele has also been thanked for her role highlighting and fundraising for the Paul Sartori Foundation during her tenure as Mayor.

Meanwhile, Pembroke Dock Heritage Centre posted: “A huge thank you to outgoing Pembroke Dock Mayor Cllr Michele Wiggins! Thank you for all the work you've done (and continue to do) to support our small charity and for your terrific and tireless support for the local community. Just don't go over to the dark side!”
