AS County Councillor for the Castle Ward in Haverfordwest, Cllr Thomas Tudor said it was an honour to attend the Haverfordwest Remembrance Sunday Service ‘Act of Remembrance’, and to lay a wreath on behalf of local MP Henry Tufnell who was attending the remembrance service in Pembroke in the morning and in Neyland in the afternoon.

“Many thanks to the organisers from the various organisations involved who made this important event possible,” said the councillor.

“May I also extend my heartfelt appreciation to all the volunteers and residents who attended the service on such a rainy day, including Mr Mike Williams who laid a wreath on behalf of patients and staff from Withybush Hospital, your dedication is greatly appreciated and recognised.”

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:

Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning

We will remember them.
