You may have heard rumours of fun and games taking place in the small village of St Twynnells. These rumours are all true, and the fun has already started!

From July 8 to 12, a flower festival is taking place to raise funds for the village’s church under the theme of Fun and Games.

The friends of St Twynnells Church have planned to help raise funds for the little church which is on the Angle peninsula. They will be putting up arrangements showing all sorts of games and fun activities.

Many local churches are currently struggling to keep their doors open and funds are needed to keep these ancient buildings in a good condition. At the moment the tower at St Twynnells is in urgent need of re-pointing.

There will be a marquee where refreshments will be served, from tea and homemade cakes to lunches, between 10.30am and 5.30pm during the five-day festival.
