REFORM UK Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire has announced that Ryan Morgan is standing as a candidate for the role of County Councillor for Market Ward in Pembroke Dock, where he runs a care business with his wife.

Ryan lives in Pembroke with his wife and two children along with two dogs (who are also “like children”, he says). Day to day, Ryan and his wife run a small care business based in the heart of Pembroke Dock, which is why he is standing to be a councillor there rather than in Pembroke.

Ryan says: “We care and help people every single day in all stages of their life.

“When I get five minutes to myself, I enjoy spending time with the family on day trips to local attractions, walking the dogs along our stunning coastline and long overdue catch ups with friends!

“Our daughter has ASD and struggles in various situations, so I am extremely passionate about Additional Learning Needs (ALN) in our schools and the local health services, having been through two operations on my eyes in the past.

“After moving to Pembroke from Kilgetty in early 2022, I began to see very quickly how the Pembroke Dock community is second to none and have been amazing supporters of local events and small businesses!

“I truly believe Pembroke Dock has huge potential and would love to play a part in its history and help the local residents wherever I can. I currently serve as a local authority Governor at the local secondary school along side my day job, understanding the importance of education to the future generations of Pembroke.

“Caring and supporting people is what I do for a living, I want to continue to support Pembroke Dock as much as I possibly can by serving as county councillor in Market Ward.”
