Sir, I read with interest and hilarity 'The Stafford Family' letter opposing any development of housing behind Whitlow and Castle View. The key points were made quite simply that Saundersfoot's infrastructure would not cope with any large development, and I totally agree with those sentiments. I think the family, however, displayed a great deal of ignorance over their comments of not wanting anybody from, heaven forbid, Pembroke Dock living behind them. I was brought up on Whitlow and had a wonderful childhood growing up on the estate with my brothers and friends. I now reside in Pembroke Dock with my own young family, but my parents still reside on Whitlow and my brothers both live within the village. I'd like to know whether the Stafford family feel it is alright for me to visit my parents and brothers, or even spend money in Saundersfoot's pubs, restaurants, shops etc... especially considering that I now am a resident of Pembroke Dock. The final question I'd like to ask the Stafford family is where they have come from? They are quite recent incumbents to Saundersfoot and they're obviously not from Liverpool or Pembroke Dock! It's obviously alright for people from their 'neck of the woods' to migrate to Saundersfoot.    A. Williams,

Pembroke Dock.
