Some of the top stage artists from the National Hairdressing Federation Artistic Team will be demonstrating the latest hair styles and fashion trends at Pembrokeshire College's Merlin Theatre on Monday, June 14, to local hair stylists, salon owners and hairdressing students.
Designed to be fun, informative and reflect real life, the artistic team have performed in salubrious places such as Tuscany, New York, Chicago and London.
The Pembrokeshire Hair Extravaganza links the activities of three local organisations, Elgon UK Ltd., Head to Toe Hair and Beauty Supplies, of Neyland, and Pembrokeshire College.
Egon will provide the show team, educational DVDs to delegates, free sample packs for each salon attending, and choreograph the event. Pembrokeshire College will provide the facilities, hairdressing students to act as stylist assistants for the show team, student beauticians to make-up models, photography to cover the event and catering students to prepare and serve the buffet. Head to Toe Hair and Beauty Supplies will be promoting the event.
Bryan Batstone, managing director of Egon UK, commented: "We aim to provide an evening to remember for local hairdressers and salon businesses. We have always made it our priority to give hairdressers every type of support we can to assist them in their business, and this show will combine learning with fun and inspiration.
"Along with getting to see some of the top hair artists working on stage, local hairdressers will have the opportunity to socialise with each other whilst enjoying a finely prepared buffet provided by Pembrokeshire College catering students.
"The evening is designed also to raise the positive exposure of all the organisations involved, whilst giving hairdressers in the county the opportunity to learn valuable techniques from some of the top stage artists in their industry," added Mr. Batstone.
