Pembrokeshire College’s first year business students have raised £280 for Guide Dogs Cymru by holding an enterprise fair and renting selling spaces.
As part of the Extended Diploma in Business, the group were tasked with planning, running and evaluating an event. The group have recently completed their project which saw them renting spaces to local retailers, charity organisations and enterprising students. The group also took to the opportunity to make further money by selling waffles, popcorn and holding a raffle.
First year business student, Chloe Wilson said that she enjoyed the challenge.
“It’s been a really useful experience planning and running the event, it’s given us all a chance to put what we’re learning into practice and we’re all really pleased that we raised so much money for Guide Dogs,” she stated.
