Pembrokeshire College's new spring and winter part-time brochure featuring hundreds of courses in 13 locations throughout Pembrokeshire and at work is now available from the college and the Education Shop in Haverfordwest, Milford Community College, libraries and many shopping outlets.
"There's a wide range of courses on offer so there should be something that will appeal to every adult whatever their age or interest or whether they are learning for self development, fun or to progress their career," said marketing services manager, Lawrence Rook.
"In the new-look brochure is the usual large choice of computer courses from complete beginners to the professional office user, but there's also an extended range of introductory courses for people who would just like a taste of learning in a supportive, fun atmosphere. These include hair and beauty, literature, and poetry for the first time.
"For the career minded, there's a range of specialist courses at various levels, including marine, business, hospitality and catering, nursing and engineering.
"Many of the courses can be taken at work where an assessor will conveniently visit. These work-based courses have been very successful in increasing motivation and skills and some of them only cost companies with less than 250 employers £20 due to support from the European Social Funding.
"Most individuals are also eligible to receive either 20 or 80 per cent discount if they register for an Individual Learning Account. In addition, there's a special 10 per cent discount for part-time computer courses that are booked before the end of January, 2002.
