Here at Yorkshire Building Society's Tenby branch we just wanted to say a big thank you to all our customers and members of the public who have supported us in helping raise donations for The Rescued Racers.

We know Christmas can be a time when money is stretched, but we were overwhelmed by the number of people who made donations to help us reach £100 for the greyhounds throughout December.

With the help of our kind supporters, we also managed to collect lots of blankets and towels to keep the dogs warm in the cold months, as well as toys and food.

The charity was extremely pleased with the charitable donation and with the towels and blankets that will always come in handy. They are always in need of donations, especially at this time of year when it can be very busy for animal charities.

We really appreciate the support of all those who made a donation to our collection - we couldn't have done it without them and we want to pass on our thanks and the thanks of some very grateful greyhounds.
