Could you please publish our thanks to everyone involved in the recent cake stall/coffee morning held at Church House to raise funds for the Madagascar Hospital our daughter Michelle wishes to help.

By everyone we mean Aunty Joy, Uncle John, Betty and Peter Hooper, Penny Hurlow, Michelle Watkins, Holly Cloake, who all performed on the day, the Tenby Observer for publicising the event, every cake baker who contributed an item, every person who gave something as a raffle prize, everyone who bought a raffle ticket, everyone who came and drank the coffee or tea and who bought cakes, plus all those who made donations towards the fund.

Everyone has been very generous. We would like to list everyone individually, but that would take up a page and a half of the paper!

Michelle was overwhelmed by the total raised on the morning - £721 - and in addition further cash donations have been received plus the online donation pages in the UK and Australia which means the total currently stands at £1,500 - half as much again as we initially set out to raise.

Michelle will update us with what else she is going to provide on top of the defibrillator which will be the first thing on the list.
