Next Tuesday sees a change of activity for the ladies of Pennar Community Church. In place of their usual evening meeting, the ladies are hosting a coffee morning in Bethany Hall at 10.30 am. As well as coffee, cakes and home-baking being on offer, there is almost certainly an excellent 'chin wag' to be had, with all proceeeds directed to Christian Aid.

Meanwhile, the church programme is back in full swing after Easter: Sunday - 11 am and 6 pm services led by Rev. Roger Hart; Monday - prayer and Bible study at 7.30 pm; Wednesday - Little Angels for parents and toddlers at 10 am, Fat Club at 7.15 pm (why not fight the flab with our shrinking membership?).

Community activities: Wednesday - 4 pm Rainbows and Brownies; 8 pm pure poetry in motion with Rodgers Ranch Line Dancing Group.

A very warm welcome is extended to all these activities.
