Coastguards from Tenby and Manorbier went to the aid of a 68-year-old man who collapsed on Saundersfoot Beach last Thursday morning while walking his dog. The coastguard team stabilised his condition until an ambulance arrived. The casualty was then carried from the beach to the waiting ambulance and conveyed to Withybush Hospital, Haverfordwest. His condition was not thought to be serious. His dog was taken care of by his wife.
