Pembroke Farmers Club’s 200 year celebrations begin with a gala concert.

The Pembroke Farmers Club, who run the annual Pembroke Town and Country Show at Lamphey, are holding their celebration concert at Folly Farm at the end of this month.

The club began in 1817 and the members are keen to make sure the bi-centennial anniversary does not go unnoticed. Extra attractions will be present at the 2017 show, including an exhibition of the club’s history.

The concert on June 30 will be to raise extra funds for the anniversary, together with funds for the Wales Air Ambulance, which is so essential for the rural community of Wales.

The fabulous Welsh tenor Trebor Edwards will be making a special guest appearance in support of the club, to sing along with the other guests, the delightful ladies choir Bella Voce, and the male voice choirs of Pembroke and Whitland.

Dai Jones, of Llanilar, will be sure to raise a laugh or two, as the evening’s compere.

The date for the concert is Friday, June 30. Tickets are available in Haverfordwest, Narberth, Tenby and Pembroke.
