At the recent Annual General Meeting of Saundersfoot Community Council, Cllr Alec Cormack was once again installed as chair.

At the meeting held on May 14, the election of the Chair of the seaside village’s Community Council for 2026/2027 was on the agenda.

Cllr Cormack indicated his willingness to be nominated as Chair; with Cllr Peter Robinson proposing and Cllr Sarah Whiddett seconding.

As there were no other nominations for the role, Cllr Cormack, who is also county councillor for Saundersfoot’s north ward, was elected unopposed as Chair for 2026-27

Cllr Whiddett indicated her willingness to be nominated as Vice Chair. Cllr Robinson proposed and Cllr Eleanor Jones seconded. There were no other nominations so Cllr Whiddett was elected unopposed as Vice-Chair for 2026-27
