Tenby's civic amenity site could be on the move. Pembrokeshire County Council actively promotes sustainable waste management and is keen to extend the range of recycling facilities available to householders.
The facility at The Salterns in Tenby is too small to accommodate the extended range of services introduced elsewhere in the county (including facilities for composting green waste) and so options for relocating the facility to a larger site in the area are being investigated.
"This process is at a very early stage and no definite plans have been made," Anna Wilson, assistant press and PR officer told the Observer.
"Consequently, there is no immediate prospect of the current arrangements changing."
