On Sunday evening, members representing the churches in Tenby met in St. Johns Church for a service connected with the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity.

The service was rooted in the experience of the churches in Korea. In their context of national division, the churches turned to inspiration from the prophet Ezekiel, who also lived in a divided nation and longed for the unity of the people.

Representatives from various churches took part in prayers and readings from the scriptures and the congregation enjoyed singing well-known hymns, with Dr. John Harrison at the organ.

The Bishop of St. David's preached the sermon and encouraged Christians to endeavour to use the gifts from God, of hope and patience, in their search for unity.
