Councillors in Narberth have switched on to the idea of staging a Christmas lights competition in the town.
Clr. Wynne Evans raised the matter when the council met for their October meeting on Tuesday night and suggested that there be classes for best residential property, best business and best estate.
"Other towns and villages have competitions like this and I can't see why Narberth cannot get involved," he commented.
Members agreed with the suggestion and will give it consideration, before discussing it again at their November meeting.
