On December 13, the Enterprise Lodge 7893 (RAOB Social Club, Kilgetty) held its annual children's Christmas party.
All compliant Brothers can bring their children or grandchildren up to the age of 11, all brothers who have no grandchildren or children under this age limit can invite two children of their choice; this is a tradition that has been going on for at least 40-50 years.
All the money is raised through the hard work of all the brothers during the year, consisting of various raffles which are donated by the lodge; also by members of the social club who buy various raffle tickets and help contribute to this. A big thank you goes to them for their support. This year, £1,300 was raised.
On the day of the party, 51 children sat down to have food, ice cream etc. Then they were entertained by a magic man and to finish the day off, Father Christmas made an appearance and handed out all the presents.
Once again, all the brothers of the Enterprise Lodge would like to say thank you to everyone who helped the day run smoothly; also a big thank you to Father Christmas and his helper, and Donna Longhurst for the photographs.
