Tenby Museum invited children from Tenby Infants School to join a workshop with artists Tina and Colin Lewis last Thursday, as part of National Children's Art Day, held at galleries and schools throughout the county.
Having spent some time drawing on Castle Hill, the children then developed their work in the social history and natural history galleries, making further drawings, many of them in colour.
Among the most popular subjects were bathing machines, a basking seal, a penny-farthing bicycle, a bath chair and the 'Penally Cross' - all on display in the galleries. Favourite subjects outside the galleries included the Albert Memorial, the new lifeboat station and the sea.
Everyone had an enjoyable time and many visitors remarked on the excellent standard of the drawings.
Copies of the work by the children and photographs of the event are on display at the museum until the end of July for everyone to see.
