St. Florence School raised £120 and a £10 donation was received by a Guild member.
As previously reported, Mrs. S. Thompson, of the Guild, also held an SOS event at her home, raising £400.
This overwhelming support for the ladies of Pembroke Lifeboat Guild makes their total £1,804 to date, with one SOS day event still to be held at the Royal Oak, Main Street, Pembroke.
On March 20, Mrs. Joan Giles and her ladies are holding a 'Sup our Soup and Savour our Sandwiches' lunch, by kind permission of Mr. John Nutting, who is a great local supporter of the RNLI. Joan has created a totally homemade menu. Please go along, as it was fantastic last year. Lunch will be prepared freshly as you order from 12 noon until 2.30 pm.
Meanwhile, the Twmpath dance held on Friday at the Pater Hall, Pembroke Dock, realised £500, with all of the guests requesting a repeat performance for 2010.
Thanks go to all those who attended; it was a great pleasure organising it for you. The Un Yn Ormod band loved everyone's response to their music and the photograph shows them in full swing.
Finally, tickets will soon be available for the 'That'll Be the Day' rock'n'roll variety show at Folly Farm Follies Theatre on July 17 and 18. Tickets are £15. Chevron Pembroke are sponsoring this event, for the RNLI on the 18th and Wales Air Ambulance on the 17th. Tickets for the 18th will be available from Folly Farm and from Pembroke Lifeboat Guild.
Contact details will be announced shortly, but please ask any member of the Guild for tickets as soon as you wish, as this rock 'n' roll show is very appealing and quite spectacular.
The Guild appreciates all local public support and sponsors' continued support of events in aid of this very worthwhile charity.
