Police are appealing for information following an incident at a charity shop in Tenby. Sometime between 11.45 am and 12.15 pm on Tuesday, an elderly woman had her purse stolen from her shopping bag whilst she was in the Cancer Research shop. "The victim states that she was approached by an Indian female," said a police spokesperson. "The Indian female is described as being in her early 20s with long dark hair. She was four-foot 10 to four-foot 11 with a broken English accent and was wearing a black shawl and black trousers," explained the spokesperson. "Also with the female, there was believed to be a male, also of Indian origin. He was about five-foot eight inches tall and was wearing dark trousers and a black jacket," added the spokesperson. Anyone who may have seen these persons or anyone with information, is asked to contact PC278 Helen Hanner at the town's police station on 0845 330 2000.
