A murder dinner at the De Valence certainly paid off for the fundraising activities of the Wales Air Ambulance.

A crowd of 91 enjoyed a night of intrigue and imagination while enjoying a superb meal provided by Al Fresco Catering, of Manorbier.

Alladin's murderer was revealed, but only after the the other suspects had revealed a lot about themselves and their shocking pasts.

The winning table kindly donated the hamper they won to be auctioned and this, together with the gift aided blind raffle, added to the funds raised.

Hilary Harvey for WAA said: "My grateful thanks to Claire Porter at the De Valence and to Murder and Mayhem for making this a night to remember.

"People came from all over the county for this event and it was a great way to start the festive season. "On behalf of WAA can I say a huge thank you to all who have helped the charity recently."
