A charity gymkhana and fun day was held on Bank Holiday Monday, for clients and families of The Dunes Riding School, Cott Lane, Martletwy, by very kind permission of the proprietors, Sharron and Jan Weaver. The event was organised in conjunction with the Miss Wales 2007 competition and raised a fantastic £369 for their chosen charity this year - the Joshua Foundation for terminally ill children. The event was organised by local girl, Chloe Whittock, who will be competing in the competition in July. Thanks go to The Dunes Riding Centre for providing the horses and ponies and also Ian at Pembrokeshire Equestrian for providing the rosettes; also a big thank you to Don and Julie for providing a brilliant BBQ.
