Pembroke Town Hall was a hive of activity when the Rotary Club of Pembroke's charity fayre opened its' doors.

The fayre was organised by Rotary president nominee Emyr Williams to help publicise the work of locally based charities and community groups. The groups were invited to come along with their displays to Pembroke Town Hall. This was then used by them for fundraising and publicity.

Organiser Emyr Williams said: "We are really pleased with the number of visitors that attended and the range of local groups who promoted themselves. For example, we had Pembroke Silver Band playing, the Friends of South Pembs Hospital and Pembroke and Pembroke Dock Scout groups attending, just to mention a few. It really was a success."

In addition to being invited to exhibit free of charge, each group attending were given a £50 donation by Pembroke Rotary Club to help with their fundraising.
