A concert at Folly Farm, on April 28, raised the final sum of £8,623.00 in aid of Welsh Air Ambulance.
The theatre was full with everyone enjoying a wonderful musical extravaganza, which I hope will leave lasting memories for many years.
Taking part were Rhys Meirion, a world-renowned tenor and a member of the Three Welsh Tenors, together with his daughters Elan and Erin Meirion.
The organisers was overjoyed that Trystan Llyr and Gwydion Rhys Griffiths accepted the invitation to come home to sing at Folly Farm.
On March 1 this year, Trystan released the first track Gwahoddiad from his CD which he is recording with Decca. Pob lwc Trystan. Meinir Jones Parry accompanied them all.
The stage was full of fine male singers, The South Wales Male Choir and their conductor was Elaine Robinson and Sian Davies their accompanist.
“I would like to thank everyone that contributed and supported me in making my first event at Folly Farm so memorable,” said Liz Burns, organiser.
