The Harriet Davis Trust will be holding a fund-raising Book and DVD Sale outside Sainsbury's tomorrow (Saturday) and September 27, 10 am - 1 pm. There will be lots of bargains to bag, so why not go along and browse and support holidays for disabled children, adults and their carers at the same time. Elizabeth Sleight, fundraiser for the Trust, said: "We held a similar book stall in June and it was really successful, raising over £400. We hope we can match this sum again." The Harriet Davis Trust is Sainsbury's local Charity of the Year and store ambassador, Lorraine Jones, said: "We are delighted to be supporting the Trust in this way and if anyone has any unwanted quality books or DVDs, then please drop them off at the Sainsbury's kiosk."
