MULTI-talented folk musician Sam Sweeney - one of the front-line members of the award-winning supergroup Bellowhead - will be performing in Pembrokeshire next week.

Fresh from his appearance at the 2013 BBC Folk Awards where he received three nominations - including Folk Musician of the Year - Sam will be playing at Burnett's Hill Chapel, Martletwy, as part of a duo with the equally talented Hannah James, a member of Lady Maisery and the Maddy Prior Trio.

Sam, who plays fiddle and pipes, and Hannah, an accordionist and step-dancer, have been performing as a duo for a number of years and recently released a second CD called State and Ancientry. They previously played at Burnett's Hill to a sell-out audience three years ago and another full house is expected at the attractive little chapel which recently celebrated its 200th birthday.

The concert is on Tuesday, March 12, and starts at 7.30 pm. Tickets are available from the Pembroke Bookshop.
