CERTIFICATE of Achievement awards have been made by Kilgetty, Begelly Community Council to the following residents: Non Williams: Nominated by Mrs. Jenkins for serving both St. Mary's Church and the community in many ways. She holds the office of churchwarden and has been involved with the installation of a loop system to aid those with impaired hearing. If one has a problem, ask Non; if she can't help, she will find someone who can. She works tirelessly as a volunteer, also helping out at Narberth Police Station. Helen Wilson: Nominated by Mrs. Lindsell for helping the elderly people in the community, using her car to do shopping and taking people about. Helping in all sorts of ways. John King: Nominated by Graham Evans for his considerable time and effort over several years to improve the standards of Kilgetty railway station. His efforts have been acknowledged by Arriva Trains Wales. A plaque to this effect is prominently positioned at the station entrance, stating the Mr. John King has Adopted Kilgetty Railway Station under the 'Adopt a Station Initiative'. Jane Gilbert, her husband Bart and excellent staff: Nominated by Janet Ward for their dedication in providing a first-class service to the community. Whatever the weather, if you are up or down, there is always a cheerful greeting; nothing is too much trouble. Pauline Davies: Nominated by Mrs. Thomas for her care and attention to the elderly people over and above the call of duty.
