Sir,

I would like to say how delighted my family and I are that something is being done about the state of the Tenby Cemetery. We do not live locally, but visit Tenby at least five times a year to enjoy Tenby's beauty and pay our respects to many members of our family whose final resting place is Tenby Cemetery.

Our treks to the cemetery had become increasingly dangerous, fraught with the fear that one of us would fall into an unseen sinking grave! We try very hard to maintain our family grave; it is in fact a beacon in amongst the hundreds which are unkempt.

I fear that Tenby Cemetery had fast become the most overgrown town cemetery I have ever seen. In my part of the country, much more care, attention and respect is paid to the town cemeteries.

Well done to those who instigated this project and those young people who are carrying out the work. I very much look forward to seeing the improvements,

Glynis Culley (nee Hullah),
