SET A GOAL
Stepping on the weighing scales is ‘the sad step’, because they only measure our weight, not our body composition. We can look amazing after two months of working hard, but have only lost two pounds, because we get denser with more muscle and less fat.
So, it is better to focus on other things. Enter a 5km, buy a pair of jeans you want to get into or take up a new sport. Sometimes, saying “I want to lose a stone” isn’t enough. We need more interesting motivation.
